Vicky Clarke is a sound artist and electronic musician from Manchester working with sound sculpture, field recordings and DIY electronics to create performances, installations and self-built instruments. Inspired by her Noise Orchestra project (developing synthesisers that translate light into sound) I’ll be adding a new kind of machine-listening to the SONA installation for this event: a reaction to the so-called brightness of the visitors’ live sound contribution in the room…
