SONA: Landmass

I’m really pleased to share details of my next project with Sheffield-based collaborators SONA: LANDMASS. Our project investigates remote working methods for sound creation and composition across our network, providing space and time to create a work that responds to the patterns and rhythms at play in our lives…

In the first part of the project, Deborah and Lucy will visit me here in Orkney. Our residency takes place during late May 2019, with a showing of our work in Stromness Warehouse Buildings on Fri 31st May.

In the second part of the project, I’ll be taking the return journey back down to Sheffield to consolidate our methodology and outcomes. More on that as the project goes on!
