Northlight Gallery, Graham Place, Stromness, Orkney
Reopening (post COVID-19 lockdown): 10 am – 4 pm, 9th – 16th August 2020
NORTH – Land & Sea is a group show curated by Meg Telfer featuring work of Orkney, Caithness and North Sutherland artists: Alec Webster, Amy Beeston, Michael Bullen, Kerrianne Flett, Suzie Mackenzie, Don Clarke, Rhona Graham and Meg Telfer.
The exhibition originally opened on Saturday 7th March 2020 but closed soon afterwards in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Happily, the show will re-open for a week from 9th -16th August, with new precautions in place to ensure that socially-distanced visiting is possible.
In addition, I’m pleased to report that we’ve removed the headphones from the gallery – the audio part of my work will now be presented ‘out loud’ via a pair of loudspeakers in the room. If you’re local, bring your mask and come and have a listen!
